Position Highlights: Position: Physician Assistant - Orthopedics/Adult Reconstruction - Medical Group Location: Skokie Hospital, Skokie, IL Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, 40 hours per week Hours: Monday - Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Required Travel: Glenbrook Hospital What you will do: Provide comprehensive health care services under the direction and supervision of an assigned physician. Evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients specific to their area of expertise. Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection. Perform independent evaluation and treatment procedures in emergency situations in accordance with policies established 1st assist in the operating room What you will need: License: Current Physician Assistant License in the State of Illinois required. DEA & Illinois Controlled Substance License required. Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred Certification: CPR certification required Experience: Prior Physician Assistant experience preferred. Ortho experience through work or clinical rotations/fellowship highly preferred.
