Are you up for the Challenge? ROLE SUMMARY: The High-End Sales Manager is the key contact between the HE Corporate Sales Office (CSO), the region HE Director and AB’s distributors. This position fully owns the sales/marketing execution of premium and super premium brands (import & craft) in a specific geographic territory. The manager will work directly with wholesale partners for market specific objectives including; brand investment planning, 12 week-forecasting, distribution strategy, local incentives, innovation launches, activations/experiential and overall execution. In addition to this, they will also manage the local HE sales team (BDRs or KAMs). They are responsible for coaching, training, and developing the local HE sales team and executing the national priorities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Builds partnership with wholesaler management, team leads, sales reps, local commercial director and the regional HE Director. Fully owns the premium and super premium results for the wholesaler. Participates in the annual business planning meeting with wholesaler to align on volume, distribution, and investment goals. Weekly communication to wholesaler leadership team on HE objectives which include incentives, brand updates, chain commitments, KPIs, team wins, events/activations, and identified sales metrics (volume, distribution, displays, POS) Weekly participation in HE forecasts which align with monthly sales goals and ensures accuracy Works with wholesalers to order POCM during trimester order windows. Works with wholesalers to ensure all chain commitments are delivered and items not brought in are kept to a minimal Actively trains & coaches HE BDR to execute the brand priorities in the market (distribution, point of sale, activations, displays, full shelves). Participates in the execution through ride withs, events such as samplings, beer dinners, and craft beer educational presentations for wholesalers, customers and consumers. Identifies specific price and discount opportunities in the market and works closely with the commercial director on market strategy. Identifies leads, manages prospects, acquires new business and grows points of distribution. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or similar field - required 5 years of sales or marketing experience in beverage/alcohol industry preferred. 2 years of wholesaler management experience. Certified Beer Server or Certified Cicerone preferred. Familiar with VIP iDig, IRI, BIR, Power BI, Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Conducts work in a standing and sitting position; however, job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and light lifting. Job requires the ability to be in physical retail locations, late night activations and travel. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Profound knowledge of craft beer and brewing process. Strong communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint). Ability to adjust a message to the audience. Ability to use data to build a sell-in story Highly-creative’ able to generate fresh, impactful ideas and see them through to implementation. Proven ability to think and move between strategic and analytical thinking as well as actual execution. Ability to coordinate brand information, supply POS material, and keep lines of communication open with state’s wholesaler network in order to better sell through products.
