Role Description POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct analyses to inform insights and decisions regarding key species business initiatives Analyze pricing strategies and market dynamics to identify opportunities for revenue optimization Participate in the annual list price renewal process, taking into account product price elasticities, supply & demand dynamics and the competitive environment Support customer contract-shaping clauses to encourage business growth or defending existing market share Design discounting and promotions strategies to optimize customer engagement and increase net revenue Understand key brands to inform annual strategic priorities by brand Ideate, define and test novel opportunities and approaches to optimize net revenue Partner with relevant teams (Marketing, Sales, Finance), build financial models and scenario analyses to drive key business decisions and forecast growth or to protect current sales Support marketing teams with ad-hoc analyses Provide input to define potential pilots and test to prove concept Monitor sales performance and analyze variances against targets, providing actionable insights to improve profitability Define, build and evolve analytics and tools to support key NRM objectives and tasks Perform analyses to track, evaluate and report performance both by customer and product, identify areas for improvement Assist in the implementation of revenue management software and tools, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis Identify patterns to seek out potential targeting/growth opportunities in key therapeutic areas at customers Conduct competitive analysis to understand market positioning and recommend pricing adjustments accordingly Understanding goals and capabilities of internal customers and partners (Marketing, Finance & Business Analytics) Enable and educate stakeholders across organization in Net Revenue Management discipline Identify areas of opportunity across the organization to improve NRM performance Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key performance metrics and insights to stakeholders. Provide feedback to counterparts to increase rigor and compliance with NRM principles Lead and collaborate with learning and development initiatives EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's or advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Math, Engineering, Computer science or equivalent is required Candidates with a Master's degree (e.g., MBA) or advanced certification (e.g., Certified Pricing Professional) are strongly preferred 3–5 years of relevant work experience preferred Experience in Strategic Pricing or Finance preferred TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Required Strong analytical, modeling and quantitative skills; able to manage and drive complex analytics, manipulation of large amounts of data Proficiency with quantitative languages and tools including SQL and another advanced programming language (such as Python, VBA, etc.) and the Microsoft Office suite Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams (e.g. Finance, Marketing, Sales, Pricing Operations etc.) Strategic problem-solving and ability to drive creative solutions in a complex environment Understanding of relevant accounting principles and their implications on Gross to Net calculations and reporting Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to synthesize actionable recommendations Preferred Ability to simultaneously manage and pivot between multiple projects, pilots and analyses Familiarity with advanced analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS 00 Open to occasional travel Full time Regular Colleague Any unsolicited resumes sent to Zoetis from a third party, such as an Agency recruiter, including unsolicited resumes sent to a Zoetis mailing address, fax machine or email address, directly to Zoetis employees, or to Zoetis resume database will be considered Zoetis property.
