101 Mobility is Hiring an Installation Technician Near Braselton, GA

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Installation Technician Helper. This role offers an opportunity to train under a licensed elevator mechanic for one year, providing hands-on experience and mentorship to prepare for eligibility to sit for the license examination. The ideal candidate will be mechanically-minded, possess a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to learn. Experience in residential or commercial construction, as well as electrical work, is highly advantageous.

Requirements:

  • High ethics and integrity
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
  • High School diploma with a minimum of 2 years work experience preferred
  • All applicants must have a clean driving record
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Must keep a neat and professional appearance, wearing 101 Mobility uniform during all working hours
  • Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stand, walk, stoop, crawl, and bend at the knees and waist. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs as needed.
  • Mobility, Accessibility, or Durable Medical Equipment industry knowledge is highly preferred
  • Must be available weekdays, typically, a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Compensation is based on experience.
  • May be required to attend product training classes as necessary.

The primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Assist licensed elevator mechanic in the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevator systems.
  • Learn and adhere to safety protocols and regulations within the industry.
  • Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issues under supervision.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
  • Maintain vehicles and tools keeping them in good working order
  • Keep installation and inventory areas neat and organized
  • Follow procedures and systems as set by the company
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.70 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
