1004 Adient US LLC is Hiring a Continuous Improvement Manager Near Eldon, MO

JOB DESCRIPTION Knows the applicable Customer Requirements, understand the impact of not conforming to customer requirements. Facilitate cross-functional expert teams to drive breakthrough or Best-in-Class performance in People, Quality, Material Flow, and Cost. Identifies key individuals for team membership and secures their approval to become team members. Provides basic Six Sigma training to project team members. Applies Six Sigma tools and techniques to measure, analyze, improve and control project processes. Reports on project progress to Plant Manager and other appropriate leadership levels at least on a monthly basis. Prepares detailed plans to track project performance and assure timely completion and achievement of quality and savings goals. Identifies barriers to project success and solicits help from champions when needed. Attends required training and acquires needed skills. Documents improvement process learning and shares best practices with other CI Managers / Black Belts. Identifies and brings forward to Champion new project opportunities. Accountable to impact on Operational Cost. All other tasks as assigned Engages in safe practices as well as follows and enforces safety rules and job rotations. Must be willing to report unsafe conditions, reporting unsafe acts, participating in safety/ergonomic committees, participating in safety Kaizen events, participating in Blue Sky initiatives, participating in safety audits, and participating in safety observation feedback events. Assist the plant in achieving safety goals while achieving and maintaining Safe Workplace and Environmental and Sustainability AMS objectives. Initiate timely investigations of all reported incident/accidents, injuries and timely completion of all 8Ds listing the “5 whys” and identify and document the root cause.
