Department Overview Unified Communications (UC) is the organization that builds MSI's broadband mission critical communications portfolio of applications. Job Description This position is a hands on development, deployment and testing role including: Honey Pot implementation Integrate security events for 3rd party components and MSI applications from the Honey Pot into MSI's SIEM Develop correlation rules in MSI's SIEM to detect potential exploits on the honeypot and correlate with those in production systems Required Skills: Hands-on experience with security event logging, establishing ingest pipelines into a SIEM, SIEM deployment, writing SIEM alerts/detections, correlation of alerts from SIEM, integrating alerts with a SOC. Basic Requirements Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or allied disciplines. Graduation date must occur on or after December 2024. Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
