Job Description FactSet is looking to recruit a contracts administrator for the in-house Legal Department. The Contracts Administrator would be part of the global legal team based in Norwalk, Connecticut. The role represents an excellent opportunity to work as part of a global legal team. Under the supervision of Attorneys and Senior Contract Administrators in the Legal Department, the successful candidate will: Provide high-quality support to our global sales team by assisting in customizing contracts and providing guidance on the contracting process. Prepare vendor agreements, confidentiality agreements, and any other in-house legal documents using prescribed templates. Undertake document drafting: letters; emails; reports; documents and forms; amending documents; producing presentations and spreadsheets. Client filing: maintaining electronic and paper client files; indexing; archiving including arranging collections and retrievals. Undertake other administrative tasks as required. Learn and understand company policies to ensure these are met when assisting with contract agreements. Maintain open and appropriate communication lines with internal stakeholders and external clients at all times to ensure the company's needs are met. Manage and prioritize own workload to ensure work is turned around within agreed deadlines and timeframes. Candidates must have excellent organizational skills, the ability to organize a varied workload and prioritize tasks to meet agreed-on deadlines, excellent communication skills both oral and written. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, and able to use their own initiative and must have excellent attention to detail, with the ability to be calm, and retain a professional attitude under pressure. Desired Skills & Experience College graduate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a contract administrator, paralegal, legal secretary, or equivalent experience working with legal documents such as contracts. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent word processing and spreadsheet skills. Knowledge of legal terminology is desirable but not essential.
