About the Role: We’re looking for a Senior UX Writer who is passionate about creating world-class copy that engages customers and complements the designs in which it appears. We’re the NortonLifeLock Product Design group, and we design software, apps, websites, and services that protect our customers’ identities, data, and devices—at home, in business, and wherever their digital lives lead them. Your role in this effort is to provide clear, accurate, and consistent copy that gives customers only the information they need, precisely when they need it, in a voice that is unmistakably NortonLifeLock. You’ll tell the NortonLifeLock story across multiple platforms and marketing channels. You’ll ensure copy quality and consistency within each product and across the entire product line. Most importantly, you’ll play a key part in keeping our customers Cyber Safe. Responsibilities: Write, edit, and proof UX copy for NortonLifeLock products and marketing collateral. Develop optimal product flow and copy by working with designers, product managers, developers, engineers, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with marketing teams to create strategy and content for landing pages, emails, cross-sells, upsells, and other collateral. Finalize copy in consultation with the legal and localization teams. Ensure that copy in all products and channels adheres to NortonLifeLock style. Present content strategy to internal and external audiences as required. Help maintain the group copy database and copy style guide. Report to and support the Managing Editor. Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience writing and editing copy for consumer-interactive environments (software, apps, web, etc.) Portfolio and/or writing samples demonstrating UX and marketing expertise Four-year degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field or equivalent experience Excellent analytical, research, organizational, and content management skills Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver on tight deadlines An E2E mindset and genuine curiosity about consumer tech products Capacity for effective collaboration with multiple stakeholders holding differing perspectives Tireless advocacy for the customer NortonLifeLock is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
