Job Description: Position Overview The Collections Analyst will be working in a shared services environment, and will be responsible for research, analysis, and collection of overdue accounts. This position works closely with internal and external business partners to meet the goals and tasks assigned in an ever-changing business environment. This individual is responsible for assisting in the design, implementation and deployment of policies and procedures, as well as streamlining current collection processes. The successful candidate will be customer, creative, and solution oriented, while delivering timely and high-quality results and able to pursue multiple concurrent initiatives. This is a remote position but will be required to come into the office for monthly (occasionally weekly) meetings. Job Responsibilities Ensure timely collection of invoices, and routine follow-up of assigned accounts, utilizing both email and phone, while providing a high level of professionalism in all communications Work in conjunction with sales and client services teams to manage the client accounts, and deliver top quality customer service to both internal and external business partners Research contracts, past emails, payments, and other documentation to ensure all knowledge of the client matter is understood prior to beginning collection efforts Research short-payments and unapplied cash and follow through with appropriate measures as required to bring the issue to closure Research and reporting of payment history as requested by client or Epiq personnel Assist in the creation of collections process documentation as needed Provide specialized custom reporting specific to clients on a monthly or adhoc basis Trend analysis of large dollar accounts to show payment frequency, e-billing submission status, and overall health of the account Facilitate monthly or adhoc meetings with clients and/or internal business partners to discuss account status, issues, and action items to bring accounts to closure Qualifications and Skills 3 years’ experience working in a business to business collections environment Excellent attention to detail Strong problem solving and analysis skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and strong customer focus Ability to thrive in a fast paced business environment Demonstrated capability to analyze business processes and initiate process improvements Independent thinker with high initiative Able to work in stressful situations Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred SAP experience ideal but not required Special Requirements Work week is 40 hours plus additional hours as required to meet business requirements.
