FEED A Day in the Life: As an engineer supporting our front-end engineering and design (FEED) capabilities, some of the work you will be doing includes: Estimating costs for compressor stations, gas pipelines and meter stations including labor, material, equipment, contractor and subcontractor costs for projects; estimating abandonment for onshore and offshore pipelines, compressor stations, meter stations cost analysis Collaborating with project and business development, system planning, engineering, operations and commercial to scope and estimate facilities for tactical, mega and expansion projects Partnering with internal and external partners to discuss project scope and associated costs; seeks feedback and projects consensus to determine optimal set of project facilities Communicating with vendors, suppliers and other contractors to seek cost/budgetary data to support project cost estimates Creating preliminary pipeline routing and mapping using software such as Google Earth, Facility Site Locator and GIS applications As an Engineer, you’ll work independently on projects and technical assignments that directly impact our operations. Your extensive knowledge of processes and ability to evaluate, innovate and handle numerous projects are vital to this role. You may be asked to prepare and deliver presentations and lead small, specialized teams to identify and resolve technical and project management issues!
