100 Deckers Outdoor Corporation is Hiring a Remote 3rd Shift Loss Prevention Agent

POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY STATEMENT (defines the major functions/purpose of the position): Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, auditors, and others. Represent the company in a positive and supportive manner at all times. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points. Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Respond to alarm company off hours calls. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: • High school diploma. • 2 years’ experience as a security officer or law enforcement officer COMP: $19.50-$20.50. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: • Knowledge of security procedures • Ability to work effectively under stressful conditions • Ability to establish and maintain courteous and effective working relationships with others • Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing for the purpose of obtaining and disseminating information • Exercise diplomacy when dealing with people in sensitive situations • Apply active listening techniques in order to obtain complete and accurate information • Function effectively as a member of a team • Apply the principles of supervision to direct the work activities of subordinates • Rapidly prioritize a variety of tasks and take appropriate action • Must have sufficient computer knowledge to perform clerical tasks and prepare daily reports • Ability to apply first responder techniques in performing emergency first aid and CPR • May be required to work irregular hours, holidays, weekends and overtime. • May be required to walk or stand for extended periods of time PHYSICAL DEMANDS: In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel in order to operate office equipment, hardware, keyboards or controls, or writing implements; reach with hands and arms to file or handle documents; stoop, kneel or crouch in order to file or reach files, data or electrical outlets. Must be able to speak and listen on the phone. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
