Department/Unit: Neurology General Work Shift: Evening (United States of America) Neurocritical Care PA Position. Exciting APP opportunity to work in the Neuro ICU at the Albany Medical Center We have an exciting opportunity for a PA to join our dedicated clinical team in the Neuro ICU and make a significant contribution to providing specialized quality care to our patients. The PA works in collaboration with the Director of the Neurocritical care unit, primary nurse and other health care providers to deliver quality care to patients with neurocritical care needs. The PA applies knowledge of anatomy, principles or theories of neurology, microbiology, physiology, psychology, human disabilities, pharmacology, gerontology, human growth and development, human developmental disease, and medical terminology as appropriate in the care setting and as appropriate for level of medical licensure. The PA conducts patient assessments and completes physical examinations; collects clinical data including vital signs, collecting specimens, prepares patients for tests, therapy, or treatments; orders and interprets medical laboratory test results Thank you for your interest in Albany Medical Center!
