Department/Unit: Food & Nutritional Svcs Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Join our team of dynamic Dietitians. We are seeking an experienced, team player enthusiastic about clinical nutrition and working with a diverse population who is interested in working part-time. This position would focus on providing nutrition education within the organization to dietetic interns, nursing, medical providers and ancillary staff. The role also includes pursuing quality initiatives and data collection to improve outcomes. This position would have patient coverage commensurate with the educational and quality responsibilities of the role. We offer competency-based training during orientation, various learning opportunities (across the life span, medicine, surgery, nutrition support, ICU care, etc), a monthly meal stipend, continuing education reimbursement (after 1 full calendar year of employment), tuition reimbursement, annual AND fee reimbursement and clinical advancement ladder. Key Success Factors for a clinical dietitian at AMC include: Active status as a registered dietitian as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic Registration Completing continuing education credits for maintenance of registration status Knowledge of pathophysiology in various disease states Resourcefulness, creativity and self-motivation Ability to incorporate evidence based practice Understanding of malnutrition diagnosing and providing appropriate interventions Ability to develop effective professional relationships to promote the practice of nutrition to benefit patient care Evaluate own learning needs and pursue opportunities Practices according to the code of ethics, standards of practice and standards of professional performance (SOP/SOPP) Salary Range: $49,846.00 - $79,754.00 Pay is commensurate with education and experience.
