Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and responsible Recruiting Compliance Assistant to join our team! The position is responsible for data entry, new driver screening, and overall administrative support to our Recruiting Staff.

Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday. Must be available to work varying shifts of 8-5; 9 - 6 ; 10-7.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare DOT/driver new employee files and onboarding packets.
• Send previous employment verifications. Complete incoming employment verifications.
• Assist in processing and checking files for corrections; contact drivers for file corrections.
• Complete DOT pre-employment, drug screening on drivers. Maintain all associated records.
• Perform data entry in various company software programs; maintain database records and compile reports from database as needed.
• Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
• Pre-screen driver applicants for basic qualifications by submitting online investigation requests, background checks and MVRs for potential new hire drivers.
• Assign all new hire and remedial online Safety training lessons.
• Prepare letters and spreadsheets as requested.
• Fax/copy/scan/email/file documents.
• Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required plus one (1) year office/clerical support experience.
• Transportation, supply chain or logistics experience is strongly desired.
• Knowledge of business office operations; of filing and administrative clerical operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees and the general public, maintain confidentiality in daily operations and conduct daily duties in a professional appearance and manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required. Advanced level Excel a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to evaluate multiple solutions to make sound decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
