10 Points Inc is Hiring a Special Education Paraprofessional Near Montague, MA

10 Points is urgently hiring for Special Education Paraprofessionals for classroom assistance, paraeducator shall be working with students who require a behavioral aide who can also provide academic support. Assignment Details:

  • Caseload- 8-10 students approx.
  • Age group- Elementary and middle school age.
  • Timings- 8:45am - 3:45pm

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent and Associates Degree or completion of 48 college units or passage of Instructional Aide Test.
  • Minimum of one-year experience working with children as a Special Education Paraprofessional.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists teacher by helping with classroom instruction and working with children during instructional activities.
  • Students with behavior needs either mental health challenges or Autism.
  • May assist in planning and implementing field trips for the purpose of reinforcing classroom objectives.
  • Monitors children’s behavior inside and outside of the classroom. Escorts students to areas on campus.
  • Prepares classroom for activities, including organizing assignments and/or preparing homework folders.
