Position Summary:

The Enterprise Solutions Architect proactively and holistically leads and supports enterprise architecture activities that guide the development and management of technical and infrastructure solutions. These solutions enable the organization's future-state business capabilities and drive the organization's targeted business outcomes. Technologies include data center, infrastructure, cloud, mobile, AI, Internet of Things (IoT), and edge computing technologies. This position is a hybrid role, office days are flexible and dependent on business needs.Compensation is dependent on skills and experience.

Your contribution to the team includes:

  • Lead evaluation, design, and analysis for the implementation of a solutions architecture across a group of specific business applications or technologies based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities, value-streams, business requirements and enterprise standards.
  • Understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determine corresponding enterprise solution designs and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and document all solution architecture design and analysis work.
  • Analyze the business-IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy and technical debt, and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Develop a roadmap for the evolution of the enterprise solution portfolio from current to future state, as defined by the solutions architecture, in sync with the IT budgeting or other capital planning processes.
  • Drive digital innovation by leveraging innovative technologies and approaches to renovate, extend and transform the existing core technology base and IT estate.
  • Understand emerging technology trends and disruptions and their practical application to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
  • Act as a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes.
  • Provide deliverables like standard definitions, reference models and architecture designs to support architectural governance to assess the impact of new and ongoing technology investment on the business and IT estate.
  • Maintain good attendance, is punctual and works full scheduled shift is a condition of employment.
  • Demonstrate respectful, professional, and appropriate behavior that supports a team-oriented work environment.

  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the program management office (PMO) or project management office to ensure that the execution of plans correspond with what is being promised throughout the project or product lifecycle.
  • Coach, mentor, and collaborate with technical subject matter experts and EA peers to develop technology architecture that enables and drives new business capabilities and operating models.
  • Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations.
  • Attend staff meetings, in-service meetings and participate in agency committees and task force activities as required.

Must have's you'll need to be successful:

  • High School Diploma/GED required; three (3) to five (5) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in IT design and implementation experience, with a deep knowledge in a minimum of two of the following (or similar) technical disciplines: infrastructure and network design, application development, application programming interfaces (APIs), middleware, servers and storage, database management and operations, virtualization, cloud technologies, and Active Directory and protocols.
  • Demonstrated operating knowledge of computers. Intermediate level of Word, Excel and Outlook required. Programming skills preferred.

Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 is required, prior to start.All new employees are also required to show proof of immunizations and/or immunity to MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), Varicella, annual Influenza and TB QuantiFERON Gold Titer. Additionally, if you work in a HealthPoint clinic, Tdap (within last 10 years) is required. Hepatitis B. is required for clinical employees with potential exposure to blood/blood products. All immunizations are a condition of employment. Upon hire, employees must provide proof of their immunizations and/or immune titer results prior to starting or no later than their fifth (5) business day of employment.
