10 Concord Hospital Inc. is Hiring a Patient Care Coordinator | Orthopaedic Surgery Center | $1.5K Sign on Bonus Near Concord, NH

Summary Under direction of the facility Director, provides a variety of administrative and data management functions to support the outpatient surgery center. The Patient Care Coordinator is the primary access point for patients and is responsible to ensure patient and family members receive timely, efficient, and compassionate customer service. Duties include but are not limited to receptionist, registration, scheduling, medical record management and data entry. Education High school or equivalent (GED), and basic computer skills required. Some additional training beyond high school, but less than an Associates Degree, is desirable. Certification, Registration & Licensure None required. Experience None required. Prior experience in a health care setting, working with as part of a health care team, as well as knowledge of medical terminology, highly desired. Responsibilities Greets, patients and secures signatures for all required documentation. Facilitates care between Pre-surgical Testing, Pre-op Holding, Operating Room, Post Anesthesia Care Unit and COPA. Creates and maintains daily Operating Room schedules. Processes and routes all incoming calls and responds to departmental inquiries. Creates and maintains medical records. Performs office clerical tasks. Participates and engages in center activities.
