10 Concord Hospital Inc. is Hiring a Remote Laboratory On Call Courier

Summary The Courier reports to the Laboratory Director and is responsible for providing efficient, safe and courteous service for Concord Hospital, Capital Region Health Care and affiliated clients. They are required to live within 20 minutes of Laconia hospital and are responsible to move specimens between locations. Education High school or equivalent (GED). Certification, Registration & Licensure Licensure required: Valid New Hampshire Driver's license. Certified copy of DMV driving record that qualifies standards set by Human Resources and MVR Rating Guidelines. If personal vehicle is to be used for official business, employee must provide proof of insurance coverage which complies with organization and Concord Hospital Driving Policy. Experience None required. Responsibilities Maintain schedule and route. Transports , specimens, to and from various locations according to department standards. Work towards achieving department goals. Meets customer needs and solicits customers for feedback to improve service and relays these ideas to supervisor. Adapts to changes in the work environment and manages competing demands. Follows policies and procedures for safe and proper use of vehicles, moving equipment and tools. Demonstrates ability to prioritize and process work effectively and efficiently. Demonstrates competency performing role, utilizing available references, tools. Mobile delivery system, and equipment, to ensure quality results while following department policies and procedures. Conducts daily inspection of vehicle at start of each day. and operates hospital vehicles in safe manner at all times. Maintains the inside of vehicle and reports any damage or mechanical problems to courier manager. Supports all efforts related to DNV / ISO Certification on nonconforming product.
