We’re a growing South Tampa accounting firm seeking a Tax Assistant to grow along with us. We pride ourselves in offering professional services in a relaxed, approachable environment.

Day-to-day Job Tasks:

· Workflow Management: Create Clients and Jobs in our Workflow software, Xero Practice Manager.

· Organize and maintain client files: Download or scanning and organizing client provided information in SharePoint and job status in Xero.

· Client communications: Engagement with clients, requesting and providing confidential information related to their business and personal taxes.

· Tax filings: Submit various tax filings including but limited to Sales Tax, Federal and State Payroll Taxes, Tangible Tax extensions, etc.

· Bookkeeping: Light bookkeeping for a handful of clients.

This position is full time with potentially additional hours required during peak times such as tax filing deadlines. This position is in office full-time.
