1 Resource Group is Hiring a Generator technician Near La Grange, TN

1 Resource Group is seeking a Power Generator Technician to join our clients team in the Machinery industry. As a Power Generator Technician in the Nashville, TN area, you will be responsible for maintaining and servicing power generators to ensure they are functioning properly.

This includes troubleshooting technical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing generators as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of power generators to identify any technical issues or necessary maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with power generators, identifying the root cause and determining the best course of action for repair.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on power generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and general cleaning.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on power generators.
  • Coordinate with clients to schedule maintenance and repair work on their power generators, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and within schedule.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant technical degree or certification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with power generators.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
