A New Orleans PCA is looking for an experienced PCA Supervisor with at least 7 years of experience working in the home care setting. Must possess at least 3 years of SUPERVISORY experience with working with personal care in a home setting. Must possess CNA/ PCA/ Medical Assistance Certification and or willing to take PCA Certification and submit prior to hire. Has experience with working with the Medicaid Waiver Program. Has experience with working with the communities to provide quality care services. Experience with hiring and supervising PCA’s. Experience with working in an outpatient setting. Experienced with visiting clients in the home and providing personal care and homemaking tasks assigned. Experience with LaSRS and Hireology are a plus. Reliable, dependable, and highly organized. Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Ensure clients are scheduled and seen by the PCA assigned
• Assignment of Clients to PCA as per Plan of Care
• Supervision of PCA’s assigned
• Community awareness of services offered
• Monitoring of PCA paperwork for accuracy and quality
• Field Training of PCA’s as assigned
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Assure client/aide coverage
• Maintain client census and assist with increasing market share growth
• Scheduling of aides
• Assure required documentation is submitted timely

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
