1-800-GOT-JUNK? (Blue Spirit Group) is seeking a Regional Manager candidate that possesses the leadership traits necessary to develop talent, drive sales to help grow our Markets, our customer base, and increase profitability in Birmingham and Huntsville AL!

The Regional Manager at a 1-800-GOT-JUNK? franchise is the single point of accountability for the business including training and development, sales growth, hitting KPIs, and maintaining a smooth operation. This position requires a leader who has the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks and has proven strong organizational and people skills in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. We are looking for a person who responds positively to challenges and has experience working with competing priorities.

(This role will take place in our Birmingham office with included travel to our Huntsville office).

We cover a wide area that spans Birmingham, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville.

Requirements of the role:

  • People: It’s All About People! Review staffing requirements, complete weekly truck scheduling and forecast upcoming needs. (Performance Management) You’re a driver- you have led teams before, and you are not afraid to ‘lead from within’ and get your hands dirty to leave a customer with an exceptional experience

  • People Leadership: From team member hiring and scheduling through to ongoing coaching for growth and retention. You will be involved with the development, onboarding, training, and career growth programs for new and existing employees.

  • Culture: Maintaining and enhancing a culture that is fun and rewarding.

  • Sales Meetings: Prior to our Truck Team hitting the road we hold a sales meeting that includes reviewing sales numbers as well as coaching.

  • Sales: You will reach out to our customers to introduce them to our service and to answer any questions they may have. Identify new revenue opportunities and actively sell the business to commercial prospects. Make sales calls as time permits, and revenue requires. 

  • Customer Service: Some days, dependent on business, you will be on the trucks along with the Truck Team Members servicing our customers 

  • Finances: You will assist in balancing the daily books/cash reconciliation as well as certain operational tasks. Manage revenue and expenses to budget constraints ie: labor and dumping.

  • Dispatch: You will run the routes for the Truck Team to ensure On Time Service is provided to all our customers

Qualifications:

 
  • You have 3 years of experience as a Regional Manager, or similar role where oversaw the different facets critical in business: people leadership, customer experience, sales, and operations

  • Undergraduate degree in business or relevant field

  • Experience leading employees within a fast-paced, customer-driven environment 

  • A valid Driver’s license for 3 years, 21 years of age (for insurance purposes)

 What do we offer?

  • Salary range: 60K-65K/year with additional 10%-20% in bonuses

  • Health/Vision/Dental after 60 days of employment

  • 3% guaranteed on a 401K after a year of employment

  • 2 weeks of paid time off
