We have identified the need for a General Manager to join us in this venture. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, as the General Manager you will have the opportunity to roll up your sleeves and perform the critical day to day functions managing the data and support staff. Responsibilities and Duties:

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining operating excellence across our company. For the General Manager to excel, they should have full control over the organization’s processes. The General Manager will supervise the entire Operations department for the San Antonio 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Franchise. They will oversee the current Operations staff that includes 2 Operations Managers, and 1 Jr. Operations Managers. The General Manager will also hold a seat at the Leadership table.

Duties Include:

• Set and Hold Accountable to the follow Company Standards:
• Facility Standards, Operational Process Standards, Equipment Standards, Safety Standards, Training Standards, Implement Junktion Standards Companywide, Truck Claims Filing & Tracking
• Defining, implementing and revising operational policies and procedures for the organization
• Leading all operational staff meetings, focusing on metrics, goal setting, wins, reviews on performance
• Train and develop the operations staff to uphold operational excellence
• Developing and executing new growth directives
• Working with the human resources department to create job descriptions, hire competent personnel and oversee employee training programs
• Working with the human resources department to develop and implement staff evaluation parameters
• Liaising with other Leadership Team heads to develop financial plans and ensure company-wide operational excellence
• Keeping track of the company’s revenue margins and conduct budget reviews to maximize profits

Qualifications:

• Multi-unit Operations Supervisor in a Franchise-system
• Team minded individual with a very competitive and winning attitude
• 5 Years of Operations
• Supervisory experience required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines, required
• Proficiency in the use of Asana, G-Suite and has E.O.S. knowledge
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations as necessary, required
• Willingness to submit to background check and drug screening, required
