The Operations Business Analyst is an integral part of the operation gathering, analyzing, and providing consolidated information to the leadership team to effectively manage the Distribution Center located in Atlanta, Georgia. As a key member of the Distribution Center, analysis and recommendations will guide the leadership team on daily staffing decisions through long-term strategic initiatives. Through combining quantitative methods, strategic thinking, and innovative initiatives you will make a significant impact on our operation while focusing on quality to deliver smiles to our customers.
Key responsibilities of this person will include:
· Work with Distribution Leadership to use data to analyze departments and associated areas of opportunity to drive fact-based decisions
· Are expected to have strong analytical skills in manipulating large sets of data in databases and spreadsheets
· Will work through various departments to draw correlations of practice and policy to results
· Champion recommended changes to process, tools, and systems
· Develop systems to gather and store pre-mentioned data
· Support process improvement initiatives to include process change and management for projects in the Distribution Center
· Collect, analyze, and publish key distribution metrics to include but not limited to:
· Productivity by department/facility
· Cost by department/facility
· Quality
· Safety
· Develop SOPs for corresponding metrics and initiatives
· Lead a team of specialists focused on some/all departments in the distribution center
