Job Description:

The Import Specialist is a full-time, onsite role focused on managing customer service and operational tasks related to international air import freight. This includes overseeing the end-to-end movement of goods, from point of origin to final delivery, while ensuring full compliance with import regulations and industry standards. The role emphasizes import clearance and requires transportation experience, as well as a strong understanding of international air import operations and compliance procedures.

Key responsibilities include coordinating the collection and delivery of freight, managing shipment documentation, and entering import data into the system. The Import Specialist will liaise with shippers, consignees, air carriers, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient shipment handling. Additional duties involve responding to customer inquiries, maintaining strong client and vendor relationships, supporting after-hours issues when needed, and handling billing and invoicing. The role also includes escalating complex issues and performing other related administrative and operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant field
