Air Import Operation Executive

Work Location : East

• 5 Day Work Week ( 9am - 6pm )
• Basic up to $3,500 VB AWS

Job Summary :

• The Import Specialist will manage customer service and operations for international air import freight, ensuring compliance with government and industry standards. The role involves handling freight movement from the point of origin and customs-related responsibilities. Focus will be on import clearance and transportation. The position requires knowledge of international air import operations and the ability to address situations occurring after hours.

Job Responsibilities :

• Arrange collection and delivery of freight for international air imports.
• Take responsibility for operational, routing, and customer service aspects of all shipments.
• Identify customer solutions using preferred truckers and vendors based on rates and service.
• Coordinate between shippers, consignees, and air carriers.
• Complete necessary import documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Enter import shipment information into the system.
• Review and process documents, follow up with origin offices for clarifications, and ensure smooth completion.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors.
• Provide classification recommendations to customers with approval.

Job Requirements :

• Min 2 Years experience in relevant field.
