IT Procurement Specialist - East Location (Contract)

About the client:

Our client is a Reputed Bank.

Responsibilities:

• Check requisitions, obtains quotations, issuing of RFP/RFQ, conducting bid analysis and see through contracting and tender award process.
• Work with IT Infra head, SMEs, PM to ensure procurement process and activities are carried out diligently.
• Conduct sourcing activities through the utilization of applicable corporate policies.
• Conduct supplier financial review. Initiate and maintain Purchase Agreements and supplier business reviews.
• Identify, lead, and execute cost saving initiatives that deliver value in the IT Procurement of goods and services.
• Stay abreast of commodity prices that are significant drivers in the cost of products and the impact that commodity cost changes have on unit cost.
• Work with Global & Regional Category leads to formulate negotiation plans.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, business administration, or accounting
• Minimum five years' in procurement role with experience in IT area.
• In-depth business management and strategic sourcing knowledge.
• Competent in formulating supplier negotiation strategies to address commercial and contractual (includes boilerplates and KPIs/SLAs) aspects.
• Professional certifications in the field of Sourcing / Procurement / Supply Chain (e.g. CIPS, CPPM, CPM) are advantages.
