Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Manager to oversee our operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication, mechanics, and auto glass repair. This is a hands-on role that requires heavy lifting, the use of hand and power tools, and attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day operations of the shop, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control - Oversee a team of technicians and provide guidance and support as needed - Coordinate with customers to understand their needs and provide accurate estimates for repairs - Fabricate sheet metal components according to specifications - Perform mechanical repairs on vehicles, including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, and suspension work - Repair and replace auto glass as needed - Welding and fabrication of metal components - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications: - Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication, mechanics, or auto glass repair - Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment - Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in a physically demanding environment - Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills - Strong organizational and time management abilities - Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers We offer competitive pay based on experience. Pay: $65,527.00 - $71,318.00 per year
