Position Summary:
Our client located in Chicago is looking for a Chief Financial Officer In this role, you'll lead the Finance Division for a healthcare organization and its affiliates, shaping policies, setting objectives, and contributing to strategic plans. Your responsibilities will include overseeing Fiscal Services, Patient Financial Services, and Medical Records.
Your duties will involve:
- Developing and administering finance, accounting, insurance, patient billing, internal controls, and auditing policies.
- Analyzing and communicating financial information to the administration and the Board.
- Establishing budget programs for performance evaluation.
- Evaluating and suggesting changes to the organization’s rate structure.
- Setting goals in line with strategic plans and the organization’s mission.
- Managing investments.
- Coordinating reimbursement, budgeting, patient accounting, and general accounting.
- Preparing financial reports for the organization and its affiliates.
- Reviewing and optimizing cost systems for patient service reimbursement.
- Managing insurance and liability protection.
- Assessing the financial impact of personnel policies.
- Hiring and evaluating department directors.
- Participating in the Risk Management program.
- Integrating financial services into core functions.
- Coordinating interdepartmental services.
- Developing policies for financial services.
- Improving service performance.
- Maintaining quality control programs.
- Training department staff.
- Collaborating in sourcing needed services.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience.
- Master’s Degree required.
- CPA Preferred.

Pay: $170,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
