Description
As a Logistics Supervisor at All-In Removal, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating the seamless operation of our logistics and dispatching activities. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role demands a meticulous, proactive individual who can work closely with both the Operations Manager and President. Your responsibilities will encompass the oversight of daily operations, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and quality across the board. This supervisory position entails managing staff, promoting a commitment to excellence, and driving continuous improvement throughout our operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Champion a safety-first culture among staff, prioritizing safety training, and reporting to the Safety Committee on any incidents or areas for improvement.
• Oversee and participate in staff training and development, ensuring a highly skilled workforce.
• Utilize Salesforce to plan and coordinate daily workloads, aiming for optimal routing and efficiency.
• Spearhead quality assurance initiatives, developing measures and tools to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and productivity.
• Implement strategies for early error detection to mitigate potential issues effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance in relation to safety, accuracy, and productivity.
• Maintain precise records of inventory, including materials, fuel, and supplies, to minimize losses.
• Manage logistics related to the distribution of materials and assets, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes.
• Act as a crucial link between operations and management, providing valuable insights on company performance, customer feedback, and competitive landscape.
• Engage in special projects and process improvement initiatives as required.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a management or supervisory capacity within operations, logistics, or transportation.
• Versatile operational and logistical skills, comfortable working in both office and field environments.
• Strong multitasking ability in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of effective interaction across all company levels.
• Positive leadership and team-building capabilities, enhancing employee morale and engagement.
• Proficiency in computer use, with a quick adaptability to new software systems, including Salesforce.
• Reliable, with a keen eye for detail and superior time management skills.
• CDL license or readiness to obtain one is preferred.
• A minimum of a high school diploma, with further education regarded favorably.
