Compensation:

$150,000 yearly plus bonuses

Responsibilities:
  • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings

The attorney will be responsible for all aspects of clients’ matters including:

  • Meeting with the boss (heretofore called the "Client")
  • Devising strategies focused on providing value to the boss
  • Finalizing and customizing documents through technology and as efficiently as possible
  • Drafting pleadings aimed at satisfying the jury charge
  • Supervising and delegating work to paralegals and assistants so lawyer time is maximized
  • Preparing for and attending hearings and trials with the information and evidence at your fingertips, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Be an active member of the Texas Bar
  • Have 4 years’ experience in either Commercial Litigation, Corporate work, Real Estate Litigation, and Business Disputes.
  • You should be a self-starter, a quick learner, and have a solid ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Creative problem-solving, flexibility, and an ability to prioritize are important.
  • Have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Have solid computer and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity in the handling of personal client information, including following the Rules of Professional Conduct.
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic with high standards for quality of work.
  • Be able to interact with our clients, colleagues, and co-workers in a compassionate, personable, and professional manner.
  • Skills and experience are required and valued, but attitude, character, personality, and integrity, are also important. High-maintenance, humorless or self-important individuals will not succeed in this position and should not apply.

At San Miguel Attorneys, P. C., our main objective is to assist our clients with their business opportunities, through the creation, development, and protection, of corporations strategically conceived. We also assist our clients transactionally through drafting contracts, establishing real estate investment strategies, and serving as their fractional Chief Legal Officer. Lastly, we also help our clients by suing and fighting cheaters, fraudsters, and irresponsible parties via practical, results-oriented litigation, with the best interest of the Boss in mind. We represent businesses in Texas and Mexico. Our office is located in The Woodlands, a suburb north of Houston, Texas. However, we also participate in, and represent businesses in Mexico.
