The Language and Learning Lab is Hiring a Physical Therapist Near South Ozone Park, NY

Job Description

Job Description

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Physical Therapists to join our growing team. Our PT's provide home based services to school age children who have learning and developmental disorders. They are responsible for direct services, completing documentation and keeping accurate records of treatment plans, progress notes and annual reports.

Requirements:

  • Valid New York State Physical Therapist (PT) license and registration 
  • Must be willing to provide home/community based services in Queens, NY
  • Availability Monday - Friday after school, weekend availability a plus
  • Experience providing Physical Therapy to school age children diagnosed with Autism, ADHD and various language and speech disorders

Responsibilities:

  • Provide services to children with developmental disabilities
  • Foster strong relationships with families and create a nurturing learning environment in home settings
  • Engage with caregivers to maintain consistent therapeutic schedules
  • Maintain weekly, quarterly, and annual paperwork including daily session notes, progress reports and annual review
