The primary role of the Superintendent is to manage and oversee all functions of our job sites related to home remodeling projects while providing outstanding customer service. The Superintendent will coordinate the remodeling of multiple projects from start to finish, including scheduling subcontractors, conducting homeowner walk-throughs, and maintaining strict adherence to our safety and construction standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Plan and direct all activities on the remodeling site. - Schedule all involved subcontractors for each phase of project development and execution. - Ensure each project is completed on schedule from planning through final walkthroughs, satisfying all contractual obligations. - Approve work performed by subcontractors, addressing any issues that arise, and authorize payments upon thorough inspection. - Maintain a safe and orderly work site by implementing safety protocols and good housekeeping practices, complying with OSHA and state regulations. - Ensure adherence to all applicable building codes. - Complete necessary checklists, schedule inspections, and ensure their successful completion. - Conduct homeowner orientations and follow-up meetings to ensure satisfaction with the remodeling process. - Uphold quality standards through regular inspections of projects under construction. - Maintain cleanliness of the project sites, enforcing daily clean-up protocols. - Manage subcontractors to perform designated warranty repairs. - Respond promptly and professionally to homeowner concerns to maintain high customer satisfaction. - Conduct business ethically and professionally, enhancing customer goodwill and the company’s reputation. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with coworkers, homeowners, inspectors, and subcontractors. - Enforce company policies and ensure uniformity in construction methods to maintain quality standards. - Suggest improvements within the system to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications: Required: - Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or 3-5 years of related experience in home remodeling. - Must have a vehicle capable of carrying supplies, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to drive among designated communities as needed. - Ability to use construction management software and tools on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. - Proficiency in MS Office and email. - Strong communication skills, capable of effective interaction with coworkers, homeowners, inspectors, and subcontractors. Preferred: - Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively. - Strong leadership skills and the ability to convey organizational policies and procedures clearly.
