**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits, payroll, and financial concepts to manage employee benefits effectively.
**Responsibilities:**
- Administer employee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
- Conduct audits of benefit plans to ensure compliance with regulations
- Assist employees with benefit-related inquiries and issues
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to process benefit enrollments and changes
- Prepare reports on benefit usage, costs, and trends for management review
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting employee benefits
**Skills:**
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Experience in general ledger reconciliation and tax implications of benefits
- Knowledge of debits, credits, and technical accounting principles
- Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now
- Understanding of financial concepts related to employee benefits
- Strong analytical skills to interpret benefit data accurately
