We also write content daily for our website. Job DescriptionEDM World Magazine is looking for a few unpaid intern digital magazine graphic designers starting January 2022. You will get to edit our magazine articles as well as all product descriptions for our e-commerce store. This non-paid internship will provide you with real-world design experience to get your feet wet if you are just starting out and need credit for school or if you simply want an outlet to flex your editing fingers and get more involved in the EDM community. We have an already established editing guide for you to reference on common mistakes for you to look out for so you don’t have to waste any time right out of the gate guessing. I would describe our most common writer’s voice style as fun, descriptive, and full of personality to bring EDM and the rave scene to life. Our team is looking for interns who love editing, are constantly getting asked by their friends to proofread their writing, and are hard-working. You’ll be the perfect fit if you have 2 hours per day to commit to editing and are passionate about electronic dance music.QualificationsYou must meet the criteria below:– Have some prior experience editing for another company, website, blog, magazine, or publication OR can demonstrate you have what it takes to edit at a high level– Ability to quickly adapt, implement, and work on a variety of tasks at the same time– Others believe and constantly remark how you are smart, driven, trustworthy, down to earth, resourceful, and are consistently a high performer– Desire to challenge and change industry norms with creative and innovative ideas– Effective communication and interpersonal skills: This is SUPER important as we are a digital-only company and all communication is done online– Dependable, very comfortable in a design leadership role, enjoys learning more about the electronic dance music industry and editing– Proficient in taking on problems, figuring out solutions, and implementing them seamlessly– Loves the idea of working at home, flexibility to work on your own time, and enjoys attending meetings online– Eager to surround yourself with other talented and motivated leaders in the electronic dance music industry– Has remarkable attention to detail– Is capable of completing tasks from a personal working laptop and has a reliable internet connection as this is a work from home internship (we do not have an office)– Can truly commit to working 2 hours a day (14 hours per week)– Is a go-getter and completes tasks before they are due to always keep us hitting our goals– Can follow directions, templates, systems, policies, and procedures already in place- Is comfortable editing in Google Docs & WordPress–This is a non-paid internship, credits available for school if needed- You will be working from home so location is not an issue however, please be located somewhere within the USA time zone OR be able to make most of our weekly meetings on Mondays at 9 pm ET. Please apply today if you fit this description as we are eagerly looking for you to join us!Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
