Job Purpose
Assist in the development of a engineering execution strategy across One Engineering subsystems. Manage the documentation, coordination, and communication of deviations to our strategy through the MOC (Management of Change) process. Coordinate and Manage Process Improvements for Master Scheduling and Capacity Initiatives. SME (Subject Matter Expert) in the overall monthly demand planning cycle.
Job Description
Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the following:
  • Subject Matter Expert on the monthly planning cycle including monthly validation of the demand report reviewing scope, project specific details, engineering demand, site strategies, and One Engineering subsystem strategies.
  • Liaison with all engineering locations and master schedulers in the creation of their monthly S&OP plans, preparation and facilitation of the global S&OP reviews, and completion of the monthly reviews across Subsea and Surface GBUs.
  • Maintain overall understanding of the capacity across multiple sites including third parties and contractors, hiring plans, budgeted headcount, and engineering/project complexities, to support overall capacity planning and scenario planning.
  • Provide support to subsea projects and commercial through the creation of capacity charts.
  • Update existing PowerBI dashboards monthly and create new dashboards as needed to highlight key KPIs and trends.
  • Supports the review of the Make/Buy Strategy with M, GSP, and other REMS leadership to ensure accuracy and consistency with execution.
  • Supports ongoing analysis of One Engineering industrialization efforts and provide KPIs for efficiency and leverage gained via these programs.
  • Manages open changes and deviations from the One Engineering tender or site strategy. Liaison with the master schedulers and stakeholders to perform impact analysis, document and communicate change upon approval.
  • Maintains and manages lead time workbook analysis quarterly through communication and collaboration with the key stakeholders and owners.
  • Participate on competitive reviews supporting the demand profile, lead time, and cost, to ensure our products are efficient and competitive.
You are meant for this job if:
Requirements :
  • Minimum 10 years combined experience in Engineering, Business Planning/Analysis, Product Planning, Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management.
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in business, Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, or relevant discipline. Master's degree in business, Engineering, Operations preferred.
  • Recognized Planning/Projects Qualification desired - APICS, PMI or other accredited certification.
  • Excellent understanding of business systems/processes and ERP systems.
  • Excellent understanding of Global Planning System and Primavera Project Management System.
  • Excellent understanding of business analysis and scenario planning.
  • The ability to understand and demonstrate Product Knowledge - solid practical understanding of Engineering, Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills to lead / manage matrix teams in multiple geographies.
Work Environment
Example - Office: Spends a minimum of 95% of the time in an office environment. Rare potential shop exposure if visiting that work environment for short periods of time which requires lifting, walking, stooping, bending, and some climbing. Fast paced atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change.
Example - Office: Office environment requires sitting, operating a computer, walking and some lifting. Some potential exposure to possible shop hazards when visiting the shop/field environment that includes high noise, heavy machinery, and shop traffic.
