** Senior General Liability Claims Adjuster**

Zurich North America is currently in search of experienced commercial liability adjusters to join the General Liability large loss technical claims team.

This is an opportunity to leverage your technical liability claims subject matter expertise and leadership capabilities to manage the highest exposures and severity large loss General Liability (GL) claims.

As a Senior Adjuster, you will work with a high level of autonomy and decision-making to manage your claims caseload while providing technical claims service excellence, policy interpretation and coverage analysis. At this level, your caseload will consist of a high volume of litigated claims. You will be directly involved and accountable for prompt management of litigated files and proactive resolution within specific authority limits, to ensure that claims are handled efficiently and effectively.

You will be an ambassador for General Liability Claims and Zurich North America, delivering the highest standards of claims service excellence and best practices, and effectively developing partnerships with key customers, brokers and other internal and external business partners that are critical to the success of the claim lifecycle. You will have direct accountability for your overall results and contributions in support of Claims strategy and goals.

Occasional business travel may be required.

This position will be located in one of the following ZNA office locations: Schaumburg, Atlanta, Rancho Cordova, Maitland-Orlando, Omaha, Overland Park, Dallas, or Parsippany.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in Commercial Liability Claims and Litigation area

OR

* High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in Commercial Liability Claims and Litigation area

OR

* Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in Commercial Liability Claims Handling area

AND

* Must obtain and retain required adjuster license(s)

* Microsoft Office experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with large loss General Liability (GL) and/or commercial auto claims

* Experience with litigation management as part of claims handling

* Experience working in a collaborative team environment and across work groups

* Insurance designations such as SCLA, CPCU, AIC

* Negotiation skills

* Leadership skills

* Juris Doctor (J.D.)
