Marketing Intern

Our company is looking to offer an energetic and self-motivated individual the opportunity to work as a social media expert and front desk receptionist for our company. If you're an ambitious person who is interested in a career in marketing, we'd love to work with you. Our social media agent front desk position will help you build a fruitful career in social media or content marketing as well as aesthetic knowledge in the beauty industry. As a social media agent, you will be expected to prepare promotional presentations, monitor social platforms, and conduct market analysis. You’ll work under the supervision of one of our managers.

Our ideal candidates are excellent communicators and can multitask well. You also must have good organizational abilities and be able to juggle several priorities in a fast-paced work environment. Successful candidates should also have in-depth knowledge of current marketing techniques and social media platforms.

Marketing Specialist Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media campaigns for various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and others
  • Monitor all social media platforms for current news, trends, ideas, and content feedback
  • Create and share engaging daily content, including text, images, and videos that promote the company’s brand
  • Understand services of the business
  • Help with event planning
  • Have positive attitude at all times
  • Maintain clean work environment: sweeping/mopping, etc
  • Ensure current social media strategy aligns with company goals and values
  • Measure the success of social media campaigns using KPIs
  • Stay on top of current social media trends and evaluate how the company can best participate
  • Monitor client engagement and interact with clients on social media posts
  • Moderate user-generated content for appropriateness
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules

Social Media Specialist Requirements

  • BA/BS in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist, including experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and others
  • Knowledge of META Business suite ****
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and Google Analytics
  • Experience with HubSpot, HootSuite, or similar social media management tools
  • Strong creative mindset
  • Knowledge of Google Ads
  • Superb organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and graphic design programs, such as Adobe Photoshop
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
  • Knowledge of multiple online marketing channels

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
