More about the Role:

The Director of Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the efficiency of the organization's day-to-day operations. They are responsible for ensuring that all departments are functioning effectively to meet the company's objectives and goals.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, one or more of the following projects that support PLC efforts:

  • Take ownership of creating a departmental strategic plan that elevates the company-wide strategic and business plans.
  • Provide effective leadership in managing teams and projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, monitoring costs, and meeting client requirements.
  • Drive the evolution of departmental best practices to deliver the highest levels of client satisfaction, constantly adapting to changing needs and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align operations budgets, optimize advertisements, and attract clients in line with departmental goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with third-party entities such as vendors, financial institutions, and suppliers to ensure seamless procurement and delivery of products and services.
  • Actively contribute to driving sales and achieving business objectives, leveraging strategic initiatives and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide exceptional leadership to team members, fostering a culture of coaching, development, and empowerment to maximize productivity and quality of work.
  • Identify patterns and areas for improvement, implementing effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency and drive business performance.
  • Regularly provide reports on project status, ensuring completion within budget and on schedule, while also highlighting project outcomes.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to drive sales and expand the client network, ensuring client needs are met and exceeded.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in operations management, with a track record of driving strategic initiatives and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a knack for building and nurturing relationships both internally and externally.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication & sales skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence
  • Tech Savvy
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to take initiative and responsibility for operational success.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Time Commitment Minimum: 10-15 hours per week, during normal business hours (Monday - Friday between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. PST).

Compensation: Will be discussed during interview.
