This is a full-time position in Des Peres, Missouri working 32 hours/week. Salthouse Smiles is looking for someone who is high-energy, positive and works cohesively with the team. Duties
- Assist in providing quality pediatric care to patients
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays/pano/bitewings)
- Assist with dental procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and update patient charts in software
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk as needed
- Follow aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety
- Perform basic dental receptionist duties, including answering phone calls and managing patient inquiries as needed

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a pediatric assistant preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and oral health procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain positive relationships with patients
