Warehouse Specialist
IE Construction is currently looking for a Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Ontario, CA. The Warehouse
Specialist is a full-time position with starting pay between $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (DOE) plus room to grow within IE
Construction.
The Warehouse Specialist will ensure all warehouse functions are completed in collaboration with the Warehouse
Manager.
Responsibilities for Warehouse Specialist jobs include but are not limited to:
- Communicate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, customer service, and transportation
- Work with supervisors, management and warehouse personnel to continually develop operational improvements and training modifications as needed
- Document and maintain paperwork related to personnel records, inventory records, safety records, etc.
- Report defective or damaged products and follow up with appropriate corrective action in a timely manner
- Perform warehouse associate responsibilities as needed including loading and unloading, forklift operation, product relocation, etc.
- Perform and document daily inspections, including equipment inspections
- Audit inbound/outbound shipments for compliance, and report quantity variances and quality issues where applicable
- Comply with all OSHA and company safety standards, policies and procedures
- Comply with all HACCP guidelines and control points
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Warehouse Specialist job:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment
- 1 years of warehouse or shipping experience
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Forklift certified a plus
- Must be extremely organized
- Strong communication skills
- Great computer skills with Microsoft Office
- Previous ERP/Inventory Management skills required
