Job Summary:

• Applicants must be American board certified in internal medicine
• Established internal medicine residency program started in July 2014
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient work
• 8 faculty, 1 PD, and 1 APD
• We welcome 25 new IM residents per year (75 total residents annually)
• Candidates with prior teaching experience and/or additional chief resident year will take precedent
• Spanish language fluency strongly preferred
• Core faculty will actively participate in clinical supervision, mentoring, and teaching of residents and medical students, didactic presentations, serving on committees, and participating in scholarly activities

• HCA Florida Osceola Hospital and University of Central Florida COM have successfully built residencies/fellowships in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Emergency Medicine, OBGYN, Psychiatry, General Surgery and Neurology
