Role: React Native Lead

Position: Technical Lead - React Native

Location: Vancouver, WA (Onsite)

Duration: Contract

Required Technical Skills:

• Industry experience with React Native development.
• Expertise in working with APIs.
• Server and Client-side JavaScript expertise well-versed in Agile Methodology
• Java development experience
• Knowledge and working experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
• Knowledge of deployment automation
• Knowledge of OpenText TeamSite would be nice to have.
• Financial Industry experience and knowledge of how a banking application works is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Technical Skills:

• Experience with building dashboards and reports for machine learning-based applications and data.
• Exposure to designs, graphics, and prototyping using Invision or other design tools.
• Experience with AWS
• Familiarity with D3 JS or other kinds of UI frameworks.
• Extensive experience in React Native (4-7), (i.e., designs new templates, tests styles/sheets, fixes bugs; collaborates heavily with core team members (especially UX and Design)).
• Experience using React Native (React Native, Knockouts, etc.) preferred Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, bootstrap, node js, and JavaScript.
• Should be well-versed with Mobile Application Architecture
• Good hands-on experience of Android and iOS Application development
• Thorough knowledge of React Natives, components, routing, web pack, prime NG, and flexbox.
• Integration knowledge and experience with exposed services (e.g. REST, SOAP, etc.)
• Familiar with common security and performance patterns (e.g.: OATH)
• Ability to get up to speed on existing code bases and add new features.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Typescript and JavaScript.
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Experience working in Agile environments and applying automation techniques with multiple teams operating in parallel to accomplish large initiative deployments.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

Responsibilities
- Lead the development of mobile applications using React Native, ensuring high-quality code and performance.
- Collaborate with the design team to implement user-friendly interfaces and enhance user experience.
- Utilize core skills in JavaScript, Front-end development, HTML5, and CSS to create responsive and visually appealing mobile applications.
- Implement premium skills such as Docker, Spring, Visual Studio, MySQL, Ansible, PostgreSQL, SQL, Django, Wireframing, and Drupal to optimize application performance and functionality.
- Utilize relevant skills in Trello, ASP.NET, AWS, REST, Tomcat, Angular, Web design, E-commerce, SEO, and Software development to enhance the overall development process.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs, Bootstrap, and InVision into the application development process.
- Lead software deployment processes and ensure seamless integration with various platforms.
- Use tools like Jira for project management and collaboration, ensuring efficient communication and task tracking.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the mobile application development process.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement security best practices to ensure data protection and user privacy in the mobile applications developed.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Compensation package:

• 1099 contract
