Twelve Oaks Catering is Hiring a Delivery Driver Near Dallas, TX

Summary:

  • This position is a delivery position for driving, for the most part, vans for the purpose of delivering hot and cold food, beverages, and paper products to preschools, schools, and after school programs.
  • Monday through Friday schedule with most assignments beginning at 6:00 AM and concluding by 3:00-4:00 PM. Overtime hours more than likely for most assignments.

  • Safe operation of company vehicles in all weather conditions
  • Meet company standards and expectations in terms of performance and image
  • Self motivated to meet delivery schedule and delivery component requirements
  • Good understanding of customer care and communication
  • Develop understanding of our company’s “teamwork” and “get along” culture in the promotion of a safe and professional work environment

Duties:

  • Proper uniform at all times
  • Proper self-loading of all necessary food, beverage, and paper items in a timely fashion
  • Excellent communicate with both customer accounts and company personnel to assure quality service and the solving of any operational challenges
  • Complete all pre and post delivery duties
  • Maintain sanitary goals and HACCP standards at all times
  • Maintain company vehicle and communicate future maintenance needs.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) (preferred but not required).
  • Must be able to communicate (reading and writing) in English for job related tasks.
  • Valid Texas drivers license with good driving record (no CDL required)
  • Must be able to pass detail background check (no felonies can be allowed for on-site school/educational facility work), drug screen, and physical ability requirement (50lbs )
  • Some food service industry experience (preferred but not required)

Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate plus the potential for overtime.
  • Health insurance offered after thirty days employment as well as vacation accrual beginning in six months.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
