The Marketing Director is responsible for branding, marketing, public relations, and communications to promote St. Mary’s Villa Campus’ services to the community. Facilitate admissions through marketing and client services strategies.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Acts as liaison between St. Mary’s Villa Campus and the professional and public communities, under the Direction of the CEO/Administrator.
  • Works to develop facility’s response to meet the needs of the community in long term care delivery and implement it accordingly.
  • Successfully interfaces with community medical professionals including physicians, case managers and social workers, as well as members of the general public.
  • Effectively communicates St. Mary’s Villa Campus’ services, mission and values to targeted referral sources, members of the general public, patients and families.
  • Gathers and effectively communicates pertinent patient information to assist in the admission process to St. Mary’s Villa Campus facilities in a manner which protects patient privacy and patient rights.
  • Plans and involves St. Mary’s Villa Campus in community and public awareness activities.
  • Possesses knowledge and understanding of State and Federal Regulations which govern the operations of our organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Serves on various internal and external committees, as directed.
  • Keeps lines of communication open and seeks to maintain high employee morale.
  • Assists in fund-raising efforts.

  • Observes and practices Infection Control and Universal Precautions in accordance with St. Mary’s Villa Campus Standards.
  • Utilizes equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Observes and promptly reports equipment safety hazards or defective/malfunctioning equipment or supplies.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of fire drill and all other emergency preparedness plans.
  • Demonstrates knowledge about the Material Safety Data Sheets book.
  • Adheres to the policies and procedures set forth in the Personnel Handbook.
  • Adheres to Campus Organizational Integrity Model and practices St. Mary’s Villa core values of respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence.
  • Punctually starts work day and does not abuse PTO days, break time, or overtime.
  • Dresses in a professional manner.
  • Attends mandatory inservices and other inservices in order to update and enhance present knowledge and skills.
  • Seeks out opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or health related field.

Experience:

2-5 years of experience in healthcare and/or marketing.

Job Knowledge:

Experienced professional with strong communication/organizational skills and clinical knowledge. Knowledge of long term care industry.

Physical Demands:

Good physical and mental health.

Special Demands:

Must be able to communicate with diplomacy and tact. Must possess a genuine interest in geriatric care, as well as the ability to work with subordinates, residents, families and visitors—recognizing and understanding their problems and the ability to tactfully assist in the resolutions. Must possess alertness and skill in recognizing problems and potential problem areas. Must have the desire to participate in civic affairs. Must possess leadership ability and the ability to work with all types of individuals. Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times, hostile people within the facility. Must realize the importance of strict confidentiality concerning resident information.

Working Conditions:

Long term care environment, contact with residents and family members. Position is administrative and requires knowledge of computer and PC-based applications. Must be comfortable working with computer and sitting for greater part of the day.
