South Dade KIA of Miami is seeking a detail-oriented TXM Technician to join our growing team. The TXM Technician administers basic car maintenance including tire rotations and oil changes, diagnoses complex problems, and plans and executes vehicle repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Drive vehicle or use various equipment, including hand-held and onboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers to conduct testing and check whether systems and components are secure and work properly
• Watch or inspect parts like hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes, and other possible troublesome items closely to Isolate the systems or components that might be causing an issue or problem
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
• Repair and/or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage by following a checklist and ensuring that each critical part of the vehicle is examined

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
• ASE Certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in service department preferred
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Complete Pre-employment Background check and Drug Screening
