Our client is an impact developer that is focused on raising the standard of living for low- and moderate-income Americans primarily by developing and preserving affordable senior and multi-family properties throughout the country, is seeking an experienced AP Specialist. This individual must be able to function effectively in a dynamic environment with little supervision and be enthusiastic about joining a rapidly growing, mission- driven company. Responsibilities
Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
Analyzing workflow process
Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors
Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to department procedures
Processing due invoices for payments
Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
Processing 1099 forms
Qualification
At least 3 year's experience in a accounting
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, as well as RealPage experience Excellent judgment, attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities
Outstanding time management and organizational skills - ability to multi-task, prioritize work, manage multiple deadlines, and track deliverables in a fast-paced environment
High energy team player that is a self-starter that can work proactively with limited supervision
