Job Title: Machine Operator / Grinder

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Machine Operator / Grinder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a grinding shop specifically focused on the production of cutting tools. As a Machine Operator / Grinder, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC grinding machines, ensuring the precision and quality of the cutting tools produced.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC grinding machines to produce high-quality cutting tools according to specifications.
• Set up and adjust machine settings as necessary to achieve desired cutting tool dimensions and tolerances.
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Inspect finished cutting tools for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Skills Needed:

• Proficiency with ANCA or Rollomatic software for CNC grinding machines.
• Previous experience operating CNC grinding machines in a grinding shop setting.
• Demonstrated experience in making cutting tools, with a strong understanding of tool geometry and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
