KROWN EMPLOYMENT SERVICES LLC is Hiring a FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN Near Pittsburgh, PA

KROWN EMPLOYMENT SERVICE is accepting applications for a full-time Fire Alarm Technician. The successful candidate must be motivated, disciplined and career oriented. Prior experience preferred, but client is willing to train.
JOB DUTIES:
Review projects information with Lead technician as needed.
Work in compliance with various codes such as NFPA72, NFPA17 and NEC.
Possess mechanical aptitude and experience using hand/power tools.
Ability to pull wire in areas and through conduit as determined by drawings and blueprints.
Ability to bend, cut and install wire as specified by NEC code.
Communicate with and educate customers as to the requirements for fire systems.
Complete, inspect, and report with appropriate specificity.
Develop and maintain business relationships with clients.
Drive company vans in a safe matter while adhering to established routes and safety guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent. Trade school experience a plus.
Prior fire alarm experience preferred.
Understanding of fundamental laws of electricity.
Basic understanding of blueprints and wiring schematics
Able to work independently and within a team environment.
Positive attitude.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of Allegheny county and surrounding counties, townships and road systems.
Valid PA driver’s license with ability to be insured.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Pertinent certifications would include NICET, OSHA, BICSI, ICC, Electrician’s License.
Ability to lift, climb, bend.
Ability to climb ladders and/or work on job lift.
Ability to work in client facilities,
Position details:
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: Daylight position, off shifts as needed.
Location: North of Pittsburgh
Pay Rate: $18- $26.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Position is Temporary to Hire
Pre-employment drug test - criminal background check
