Vortex Biotechnology Corporation is Hiring a Scientist/Associate Scientist Near Boulder, CO

This is an exciting opportunity to join Vortex Biotechnology, a company focused on developing novel anticancer agents. Current unique lead compounds target kinases involved in controlling RNA destruction. Additional novel cancer targets are currently being investigated and drugs are being developed.

Qualifications:

The applicant should be fluid in molecular biologic techniques including RNA isolation, CRISPR/Cas9 knockout, PCR, quantitative PCR, and cloning.
The individual should have experience in basic protein chemistry including western blots and immunoprecipitation.
They should feel comfortable with basic tissue culture skills.
he applicant should have a recent Ph.D. and /or completed an additional post-doctoral fellowship.

Vortex Biotechnology is located on the University of Colorado Boulder campus sequestered within the Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology Department. The investigator will also work closely with the University of Colorado Cancer Center located on the Anschutz campus.
